Words feed themselves
VASSALLO
ALFRED
POET
THE IMAGE TOOK OVER
By a cool and sunny stream
Fair the bushes grow!
While snow on top of the mountain,
Dominates the rare and bright scenery.
The way of life within its peaceful ambience
The secrets of solemn hearts determine love,
The minds must decrement;
The body weakens under pressure
The way of life must shortly fade away.
Too soon, the savage hour
Of human’s feeble thoughts
Will thrill the soul with its sorrowful way
Stormy passions rage with disgust.
