VASSALLO
ALFRED
POET
UNTITLED No 1
From the sky, I descended
Splashing down in the sea with fishes
undefended.
Looking at a caterpillar
Comparing it to a butterfly
The bloody big difference isn’t it?
Yet from one comes the other
Unfortunately…..
…..A human cannot change into something better!
Time is a marathon athlete
castrated from death
it rolls along without stopping
a portion of a mysterious life
as the sea can wash it away,
covered in dust
burnt to a cinder……
time is more
it is infinitive
an impermanent friend
as each death decreases man time continues
for whom the bell tolls it tolls for us
